We are excited to introduce to you the Rosh Eidah of Kibbutz HaTzofim…Aliza Ainis!  Aliza is a student at Michigan State University studying Human Development and Family Studies.  Learn some more about Aliza:

How many years have you been at camp?
11 years.  I was a camper in Tzofim, Mosh, and Chalutzim.  I was in Avodah and Machon as a staff member and have spent 5 years on Tzofim Staff!

What is your favorite meal at camp?
French Toast Sticks…they are delicious and French toast is my favorite breakfast food!

What is your favorite all-camp event?
Maccabiah and Oconomostock…I love that Maccabiah brings all of camp together for a great day of fun and competition.  Oconomostock is great because Tzofim works so hard at putting on the show…we love showing it to the rest of camp!

What is your favorite Shabbat afternoon lunch?
Bar Mitzvah buffet…I love latkes!

What is your favorite aquatic activity?
Kayaking or Tubing on a hot day…such a blast!

What is your favorite Yom Day (themed days)?
I love all Yom days, but here are some of my favorites: Tie Dye Tuesday, High Sock Thursday, College Day.

What is your best camp memory?
I have so many I can’t even pick one! Shabbat Shira, All camp events, and so many more!

Aliza is anxiously awaiting all of the Tzofim camper’s arrival!  It won’t be long before the tents are filled with smiling campers ready for an awesome summer!
