Mark your calendars!  Registration for Summer 2012 opens on Monday, October 3rd!! This year you’ll be able to Register ONLINE!!  And, we’ll be accepting credit cards, too.  We’re very excited to be able to offer this to our families.

OSRUI hosted the workshop for registrars and bookkeepers from nine URJ camps around the country including Camp Harlam, Eisner Camp, Crane Lake Camp, Kutz Camp, Camp Coleman, Jacobs Camp, Greene Family Camp, Camp Newman, and Camp Kalsman

OSRUI Business Manager JoAnn Sandoval and I have had a busy week learning all about our new online registration system.  We met with our counterparts from 9 other URJ camps at OSRUI for 3 days of intensive training.  The system is user friendly and we hope will make registering for camp easy for our parents.  If you have more than one camper, you don’t need to register them both at the same time – you’ll be able to go back into your account and add another camper, or add an additional session for your camper, at a later date.  (If you need to transfer to a different session or cancel a session, you’ll still need to email us).  You can go into your account to make credit card payments, or check your balance, at any time.  And, you’ll be able to fill out many of our forms online as well, later in the year.

While you’re counting the days til October 3rd, be sure to check out our website so that you know which session your camper(s) want.  All our 2012 information is on the website, so take some time to look around.  And be sure to see the new OSRUI 2012 Video!

To register online, you’ll need to know just a few things:

• The session your child wants.
• Whether your child wants to do horseback riding or not (you can always add it later or cancel with a just an email to us).
• If your child is registered for Tiferet, you’ll need to know which studio he or she prefers:  dance, drama, instrumental music, or visual arts.
• Your credit card information (you can still pay by check if you prefer).

Register During the First 60 Hours and Get an OSRUI 60 T-Shirt!
We’re looking forward to celebrating OSRUI’s 60th anniversary in 2012.  So to kick off the festivities and our new online registration system, we’ll send an OSRUI 60 T-Shirt to every camper who registers during the first 60 hours of online registration … from 8:00 a.m. Monday, October 3rd to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5th.
