This past #Commemorate48 Study Weekend was truly wonderful, as we honored Jerry and Paula and celebrated their 48 summers at OSRUI.  The study sessions were fascinating and educational, with our esteemed faculty Rabbi Leora Kaye, Ambassador David Saperstein, Ambassador Dan Shapiro, and Dr. Gary Zola. The attendees included alumni from all generations, who were thrilled to be back at camp with Jerry and Paula and reconnecting with their camp friends. In addition, there were inspirational t’filot (led by OSRUI Associate Director Susan Alexander and Micah Brandhandler), delicious food (thanks to OSRUI Food Services Manager Lisa Radanovich and her staff and our own Chef John), great jazz (with the Shelley Yoelin Quartet), and of course a campfire and s’mores. Some even made a nostalgic trip to Mapleway and we would bet a few stopped at Kiltie’s on the way home! Many thanks to Michael Lorge, who coordinated the weekend.
