Alumni Day, Groundbreaking, and
Celebration of Jerry and Paula Kaye

Saturday, August 4, 2018

The power of camp is community.

For generations of summers, OSRUI has been a vibrant place, infused with ruach (spirit), Jewish learning and a deep sense of community.

On August 4th we break ground on the new Heichal HaTarbut Kaye [Kaye Cultural Center].  This new building will provide an indoor space which will accommodate our entire summer camp community at one time for worship and performances, as well as enhanced facilities for year-round adult and family programming, retreats and special events.

The building will be named in honor of Jerry and Paula Kaye, who created and nurtured a vibrant Jewish living environment at OSRUI for 48 summers.

Join us as we welcome alumni from all generations to celebrate Shabbat at OSRUI with our campers and staff.  Later in the day we will break ground on this one-of-a-kind building and celebrate the Kaye’s one-of-a-kind legacy.

More information about Heichal HaTarbut Kaye and the Capital Campaign is available here.
