Special Track for Families with Young Children!
March 13-15, 2020
Camp isn't just for kids ... it's for the whole family ... and it's never too early to start making camp memories!
Family Camp is the ultimate Jewish family weekend getaway for parents, grandparents, and kids. It's a great opportunity to discover the magic of OSRUI and experience the vibrant and engaging Judaism that's part of every summer at camp. And there's lots of fun activities for families to experience together:
- Challenge yourself on our 55-foot Alpine Tower.
- Keep your eye on the ball ... basketball, volleyball, soccer, ga ga and more.
- Express yourself in the Sang Arts Center.
- Experience Shabbat at OSRUI.
- Cook mouthwatering s'mores over the campfire.
- Learn the secrets of OSRUI on a hayride around camp.
- And lots more surprises!
Your family will treasure these shared camp memories.
Spring Family Camp is in partnership with PJ Library, a program of JUF. This weekend will include special PJ Library programming for families with children 6 and under, as well as programming for all families with kids age 12 and under. Programming is designed for parents and children to participate in together. Our staff is there to help make sure it is a great weekend for all and we ask that parents supervise their children throughout the weekend.
Check-in will begin at 5 pm Friday, and the weekend will end about 11:30 am on Sunday. See the sample schedule on the right.
This program is underwritten in part through a generous grant from the Daniel M. Soref Charitable Trust.
The fee is $395, which includes meals from Shabbat dinner through Sunday brunch, lodging for two nights, and all in-camp programming for a family sharing one room; A family may reserve a second adjoining room for an additional $250. Accommodations are provided in the Daniel M. Soref Education and Alumni Center, the Schaalman Lodge, and the Bayit.
