URJ Congregational Shabbat at OSRUI – CANCELLED

It is with broken hearts that we have canceled all in-person activities held on our site for Summer 2020.
If at any point new information emerges and conditions change that lead us to be able to provide in-person gatherings, we will do so as a top priority.

With gratitude for their service to our community, we invite synagogue leaders & professionals and URJ Board members to share in the magic of Jewish summer camp at OSRUI.

Shabbat at OSRUI
for Synagogue Leaders & Professionals
URJ Board Members

Saturday, July 11, 2020
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Sit under the trees and pray with us at Shabbat services led by our campers, and then enjoy lunch with us as a community.  During the afternoon there will be Israeli dancing and many other opportunities to witness the passion OSRUI creates in our campers.

We will be joined by special guest, Ruben Arquilevich
Vice President for URJ Camps, NFTY, and Immersives

Ruben has over three decades of professional experience in Jewish camping, youth work, and leadership.  He is leading the Reform Movement's vision for youth.  Join in the discussion on how congregations can partner with URJ camps to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

More than 1,000 children from across the Midwest spend part of each summer at OSRUI.  During their time at camp, they learn life lessons, develop their individuality and self-esteem, and make lifelong friendships.

Join us with your family, colleagues and fellow board members on July 11th so you can experience what is driving the future of Reform Judaism, one summer day at a time.
