by Tessa Robinson, Tzofim Rosh Eidah

I am ecstatic to be coming to camp this summer as Rosh Eidah of Tzofim! . This will be my 7th summer at OSRUI (after 5 summers at URJ Camp George in Canada). I come from Hanover, a small town in southwestern Ontario. I just finished my junior year at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, where I am majoring in History and Jewish Studies. This past semester, however, I studied at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, enjoying the sights, sounds, and food of Israel. Upon graduation, I hope to spend more time in Israel and to pursue a Master’s in Jewish Nonprofit Management at Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion. My favorite things to do at camp involve playing competitive games of Knock-Out, singing and cheering really loudly, swimming in the pool on a hot Wisconsin day, and hanging out on Tzofim Hill. I am so excited to be back in Oconomowoc for another fantastic summer!
