I can’t believe we’re already halfway through the second week of Kallah Bet!!  We kicked off the week by rockin’ out at an all-camp concert with Rick Recht. Then yesterday each cabin chose a theme and dressed up accordingly for Yom Nachesh Ma!? (Guess What Day!?) The other cabins then had to guess what the themes were.

Last night was our second erev tzrif (cabin night), with groups doing everything from Lego team-building to the ever-popular spa night to a hayrack and boat rides.  Today was the Kallah Pool Party, and tonight will begin the all-camp Maccabiah Games!

Plus we’ve continued experiencing the history of American Jewish life, deciding how to put our imaginary tzedakah toward a variety of charities, meeting some famous individuals (such as Bob Dylan, Barbara Streisand, Levi Strauss, and Chaim Solomon) and culminating with our project today of creating model Jewish communites of the future!

We are looking foward to finishing the rest of the session with lots of ruach (spirit) and fun doing everything above PLUS closing strong at our Sesame Street Banquet and the Kallah Beit Cafe (coffee house) talent show on Saturday.

It should be a great ending to a great session!
