What do you do when you’re not at camp?
I work with Foster Care children in Peoria, IL. I help make sure all their educational, social/emotional, and medical needs are met. I also work with their parents to help them get the children back or come up with permanent homes for the children. Next year I am getting a masters in school social work from UIC.

What is your favorite part of camp and why?
Coming together with a Jewish Community and having a great time with the campers. Seeing the campers smile makes me smile.

What is your favorite meal at camp?
Baked Potato Bar with Chili

What is one thing about you that would surprise people?
Played oboe for 5 years

What is your favorite memory at OSRUI?
Sitting up late at night with my cabin mates talking

What keeps bringing you back to work at camp?
Jewish Community, campers smiling, friends.

What do you hope to accomplish this summer at camp?
I really want to make sure my staff gets to accomplish the program ideas that they have. They have great ideas and I want to help them make these programs happen.
