Thank you for supporting URJ Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute!
Roots to grow. Wings to fly. Friends forever! This is OSRUI.
There are two ways your donation can support OSRUI.
OSRUI has grown each year, now bringing more than 1000 campers and nearly 300 staff and faculty to Oconomowoc, Wisconsin every summer. This great success has also created a significant challenge. We have outgrown the indoor locations designed for our community to gather together in all camp worship, song sessions, talent shows, concerts and theatrical performances. These are the impactful camp moments when our community truly comes alive. Additionally, as camp has grown, our indoor spaces for the daily program have not followed suit. The new Heichal HaTarbut Kaye [Kaye Cultural Center] will be located in the heart of camp, positioned in close proximity to the dining hall and Daniel M. Soref Education and Alumni Center. This creates a central campus, easily accessible to all and provides enhanced facilities for year-round adult and family programming, retreats and special events. The building will be named in honor of Jerry and Paula Kaye, who created and nurtured a vibrant Jewish living environment at OSRUI for 48 summers during Jerry's tenure as Director. Join us as we honor the past, while building for the future. Naming opportunities are available. Read more about Heichal HaTarbut Kaye.
Many families are fortunate enough to be able to send their children to camp. But increasingly, many are not. Each year we receive more than $250,000 in scholarship requests. We want to ensure that every child who wants to spend a summer at OSRUI has the opportunity to do so. Read more about OSRUI Scholarships.
