Shalom everyone!

We are now stepping towards the end of the second week of Chalutzim, and I have to tell you, we cannot believe that it has been 2 weeks already!

Our kehillah (community) in Chalutzim keeps growing and growing, and while the madrichim and chanichim are getting closer, the Hebrew also gets better. The madrichim are doing a great job in every aspect, and especially in the Shiurei Ivrit (Hebrew lessons).  As the days go by, the Hebrew of the chanichim gets better and better!

Last Tuesday, we had a really important and special day, Yom Avodah (work day). All of Chalutzim stepped up to improve the look of the eidah.  We painted benches and tables, made a new Bruchim Habaim (welcome) sign, planted flowers and cleaned up the entire eidah!

We have great things planned for Chalutzim next week, too!  And soon we will begin preparing for Yom Horim (Visiting Day), on Sunday, July 17th.  You should have received an email on Wednesday with a letter from me about Yom Horim.  If you didn’t, please check the Chalutzim page of our website.
