by Tessa Robinson, Tzofim Rosh Eidah

This week in Tzofim we have had a blast! We have enjoyed many things that camp has to offer, including waterskiing, climbing etgar (our tower), painting, morning lake swims, playing basketball, or sailing in chug, and enjoyed a great Shabbat with all of camp. We have worn our high socks with pride on High Sock Thursday, and have had a great time becoming a kehillah(community). Everyone is looking forward to Maccabiah (Color Wars) tomorrow, when all of camp will be competing in various competitons and having a lot of fun.

On Saturday night, the eidah came together for Havdallah, in which members of Everyva’ady Dance Now (the va’ad (group) that led Havdallah), shared their hopes and dreams for the rest of the session.
.  Miriam B. said, “for this coming week, I hope that everyone gets closer together.”
.  Emma L.’s wish was to “get to the top of the tower for etgar, and that everyone reaches their goal for etgar.”
.  Molly F. wished for waterskiing, and also wished that “we could become a better community; not just an eidah, but a community.”
.  Ethan B.’s wish was that, “I will have fun and I and the Tzofim community will be safe. I also hope that the meals for lunch will be good and that I sleep well.”
.  Simon F. shared that his wish for the new week is that “I will have an awesome time at camp and that I will have lots of fun. I also wish that we will become a stronger community so that Tzofim will be the best that it can be.”
.  Zoe H. said,“my wish for my new week is that I make it to the top of etgar. I also hope for the last week of camp that everyone feels safe and happy. My last wish is that the mosquitoes will go away.”
.  Greta C. said, “my wish for the new week is to make new friends, and become better friends with my old ones. I also hope that everyone in camp will have fun next week and they themselves will all make lots of friends.”
.   David S. said that his wish for the new week is that “I am healthy and safe. Also that I have a lot of fun during the week. And awesomeness!”
.  Daniel G. said that he hopes “everybody has fun, will accomplish their goals, and have a good time at OSRUI.”

I hope that all of these wishes will come true for the chanichim of Tzofim, and I know that everyone in Tzofim, staff and campers alike, is committed to making sure everyone in the eidah has an absolutely amazing last week of Tzofim Bet 2011!
