This past week in Moshavah was exciting and energy-filled as usual! After returning from our tiyulim on Wednesday, all of the chanichim were eager to spend their last few days at camp. We participated in the Maccabiah Games and Moshavah showed the rest of camp that we have the most ruach!

In hopes that we can share with you our unforgettable experiences in Moshavah, here are a few quotes from our chanichim reflecting on their final tiyul:

“I was on a climbing trip and it was an amazing experience that I will never forget. The views were extraordinary! I’m really scared of heights and when I made it to the top of the climbs, I was very proud of myself. Everyone realized that they were capable of achieving more than they thought that they could. There were so many smiles!”
Becca B.

“Everything on the hiking trip was one unforgettable experience after another. I’ll never forget all of the great forest views, the free time with friends, the challenges, the memories, and the good times we had. I’m so glad I got the chance to go on hiking because it was the experience of a lifetime.”
Emma W.

“In canoeing, we experienced calm views and serene cascades. We were even able to swim in the cool waters of the rushing river.”
Brian B.

“On biking we were pushed to our physical and mental limits. Many of us grew as people, learning things about ourselves that we never knew. It was a great experience.”
Braden C.

Although everyone is sad to go home, the chanichim are leaving with a new sense of strength, courage, and confidence. They have tested their limits, growing as individuals and as a community. On behalf of the Moshavah tzevet (staff) and myself, it has been a pleasure to spend the past four weeks with the Moshavah Aleph chanichim and we look forward to next year when they join us in Moshavah Bet!
