They have only been here for a few days, but the ruach (spirit) and excitement of the Moshavah Bet chanichim (Campers) is incredible! From the moment all of the chanichim arrived on Tuesday, our kehilah (community) has gotten stronger and we already feel like a giant family. The chanichim sing loudly during song sessions and love cheering for Moshavah. Despite the heat, we were still able to enjoy all of camp’s fun activities and we created our own spontaneous activities as well, including a water fight to help us cool down! All of the madrichim have commented on how impressed they are with the maturity of the Moshavah chanichim.

Since arriving on Tuesday, chanichim have already begun to lead t’filot (services), help with meal-prep, clean-up, and get ready for our tiyulim (trips). We are all very eager to dust off our hiking boots, load up our backpacks, and grab our paddles and lifejackets in preparation for our first tiyul. We look forward to spending 4 days away from camp, where we can truly get in touch with teva (nature) and learn new things about each other and ourselves.
