by Annie Azriel, Gesher Rosh Eidah

“It’s a me, Mario!” was heard all over camp last night at Mario Kartival, the all-camp carnival put on by Gesher. Each and every camper (from every eidah) had a great time bouncing on the moon bounces, running through the obstacle course, eating cotton candy, and playing at the booths made by Gesher campers.  All of the campers’ work paid off, the songs they sang were great, the skits they performed were amazing, and the energy they had was above and beyond what we have ever seen.

Now things are starting to wind down here in Oconomowoc.  Conversations are starting to turn to getting phone numbers and email addresses to keep in touch after they leave.  Cabins are starting to get packed up for departure, and the counselors are wrapping up any projects the kids have done throughout the session.

It was a true joy working with each and every one of your children these last 4 weeks.  Each camper brought a unique skill, talent, conversation, interest and much more to the group and Gesher would not have been the same without them.
