by Solly Kane, Assistant Director

The weather forecast for today is showing that the temperature could near triple digits in Oconomowoc and it certainly feels hot here already. To combat the heat we have a special schedule in place for the day to make sure that the kids stay cool and hydrated.

Every unit will have extended free swim time at the pool and the younger units (Kallah, Tzofim and Tiferet) will spend part of the day playing on our giant slip ‘n slide down the hill by the Bayit. All of the campers will also have sports indoors in the air-conditioned sport center and extended m’nucha (rest period) today.

And of course, the kids will all be drinking lots of water and wearing hats all day! It promises to be a fun day in the water at camp!

We will post pictures from the pool and slip ‘n slide on Bunk1 so you will be able to see all that is happening at camp today!
