Shalom everyone!
Another week is coming to end here at OSRUI and we are just amazed at how fast the time is flying by! This week, we had several special events go on in Chalutzim. We kicked off the week with erev tzrif (cabin night) as we will be doing each week. We all had so much fun spending some time together painting our nails and drinking smoothies, going on a boat ride, creating art work, and much more.
We had a wonderful day trip to a park and lake in which we all got to enjoy a fun game of volleyball, swimming, schmoozing with our friends, and had our own private show of Alek’s amazing magic tricks! We even surprised our chanichim (campers) at the end of it and all went to see the new movie “Brave”.
We also had Mesibah this week, which is an all camp talent show and celebration of the 4th of July. Tessa and Mady did a wonderful job singing the national anthem, and Eiden, Shira, Jessica, and Hannah all shared their talents with the entire camp and had so much fun!
Last week we kicked off our all summer Hebrew speaking competition which we call our Hebrew Olympics. The score keeping boards or up on our walls and those stickers are adding up each day! Everyone is trying so hard and is doing a fabulous job so far! Keep up with us: keif= fun, ezra= help, oolai= maybe!
