by Daniel Shore, Kallah Rosh Eidah (Unit Head)

As the Oconomowoc temperatures cool, things in Kallah have been heating up!

The campers have been leading services, going back and forth between the lake and the pool, and going up on the Alpine Tower.

Over the weekend, while Shore was out of camp, his teddy bear took the reigns and ran the unit. The kids enjoyed having Teddy Baby helping to make camp great. Now, though, they are on the search as Teddy Baby has gone missing and only vague clues are being left in the Kallah mailbox. They are hoping to do some further investigating around camp today.

Yesterday was Kallah-Tzofim day where the two units got to share their camp experiences. It started with services on the beach and continued with integrated program, lunch down in Tzofim, time together at the pool and the lake, Dinner in Kallah, and a scavenger hunt. The culmination of the scavenger hunt was all the kids meeting at the tower where they worked together to spell out “OSRUI” and have an aerial photo taken!

Later this week we have Face Paint Friday and the all-Kallah talent show!

Looking forward to a great end of the session!
