This week is marathon week in Tiferet –OSRUI’s arts unit. The campers are diligently working on their final pieces of art, music, drama and dance. Parents of Tiferet campers will be here on Saturday to see the culmination of their children’s four weeks of work. I spent a good part of this afternoon in Tiferet and I was blown away! I stopped by the music studio first and heard really great music! Now, I am not surprised that it was this good – because we have talented campers and extremely talented specialists – but the music was spectacular, really spectacular! I also saw some beautiful dancing and art work that is worthy of a gallery showing! I will keep you in total suspense about the drama, but those of you who will attend the Tiferet final program, are in for five star performance!

The bikers on Tour La Agam are on the final leg (or should I say wheel), of their 1100 mile trip. We expect them to come biking into camp on Friday and are so excited to greet them! I have been texting regularly with the madrichim(counselors), on the trip and the quotes of the day are: “My tan lines are ridiculous, my legs are like jello from biking so much.” “This trip has been amazing – the best year of the trip so far!” “These kids are awesome and are having such a good time.” “When Amir mentioned that the trip was almost over, they all started complaining that they didn’t want it to end.” I am not saying another word – you will hear the details from your very fit Tour La Agam camper.

We are anxiously awaiting Kallah Atid’s arrival. Shore and the Kallah staff have put together a fabulous schedule for these young campers. They even get to attend the Gesher carnival.

Mosh is still out on their various trips and the 7th graders in Tzofim are ready to embark on their own camping trip. The 5th and 6th graders in Tzofim will also have a special schedule that includes a tremendous amount of fun.

O S R U I – is still in full swing and doing quite well!
