The OSRUI Leadership Team (Jerry, Susan and Max and our fabulous group of rashei eidot: Max Antman, Libby Fisher, Aliza Ainis, Becca Levy, Danny Altkorn, Micah Brandhandler, Itai Shabtai, Beth Schuck and Rachel Kaplan Marks) recently took the Cold Water Challenge!

People or teams are nominated by someone who just completed the challenge, and they have 24 hours  to dunk and donate $10 to the charity selected by the person/group who nominated them.

Our team was nominated by the leadership team at URJ Camp Newman and each of them dunked into Lac La Belle and donated $10 to Team Ethan (the organization that provides support for the medical expenses of Ethan Kadish, who was struct by lightening last summer while attending URJ Goldman Union Camp Institute.)

Now we have nominated four other Midwest Jewish Camps in Wisconsin – Camp Young Judaea Midwest, Camp Ramah in Wisconsin, B’nai B’rith Beber Camp, and JCC Camp Chi to take the Cold Water Challenge!
