By Danny Altkorn, Rosh Eidah of Moshavah

Another week, another tiyul (trip)! That’s our way of life in Moshavah. We returned from our second tiyul Tuesday afternoon, and although the weather tried to bog us down, everyone came back in high spirits looking forward to some time at camp.  Camp won’t be any less exciting than the trips, though! We have a lot planned in the next few days before we depart on our last adventure of the summer!

Today we have a very special program planned for our Hebrew time: we will be learning about Shvil Yisrael, which is a trail that runs all the way through Israel, from top to bottom. Some of the Israeli Madrichim (counselors) will be helping lead us on this journey, teaching everyone about the trail and also sharing some of their personal experiences.

We are also especially looking forward to this coming Shabbat. Not only will we get some much needed m’nucha (rest), but Saturday night is also the Star Spangled Mesibah (all camp talent show)! We have three amazing acts representing Moshavah: Simon, Josie and Ethan, and Jacob. We are all incredibly proud of them and cannot wait to see them shine in front of the rest of camp. Then we’ll see a fireworks display to end an incredible night.

Everyone’s looking forward to our next tiyul, I can’t believe it’s already our last! Mosh Aleph has flown by but I know that the last week will be just as extraordinary as the rest!
