From the Director
We are so excited to be re-launching our newsletter Kol No’ar, to connect with you, our OSRUI family. And
we have much to share with you as we look forward to Summer 2016. For the first time, Gesher will take place all summer. With new chugim (electives), social justice and leadership programming, expanded sessions and a chance to plan Carnival, our 6th-9th graders will have the ultimate OSRUI experience. We’ve hired an incredibly talented and passionate group of staff from all across the U.S, Israel, France and Uganda to share their experiences and love of camp. You can read more about them on our new website. And we still have some spots left in a few sessions, so if you have not yet registered you can do so today. Come visit us at camp this summer. Be sure to stop by the canteen for a free slushy, and tell them Jerry sent you!

OSRUI Alumni

relive camp memories. This fall, Jeremy Seaver (’87-2000) and David Brot (’85-’90) visited the University of Illinois and spent a fun Sunday evening with other OSRUI alumni at the Illini Hillel. In February, OSRUI alumni from Madison joined with students and alumni from UW-Madison for great food, memories, games, and a few surprises!

Camper Corner
OSRUI’s amazing campers truly understand the meaning of tzedakah. One example comes from Sami and Alli Lipsit, sisters who started “Send a Kid to Camp” for their Bat Mitzvah project. Their goal was to collect $1,500 for the OSRUI Campership Fund. So far they have raised more than $1,800! Click here to support Sami and Ali and help send a kid to OSRUI.
Kol ha kavod to all of our campers who take action

Annual Campaign
Thank you to everyone who supported our 2015 annual campaign. Because of you, we were able to help 178 campers attend camp in Summer 2015! Your contributions provide magical, life-changing experiences for the more than 7,000 individuals who come through our gates each year. As one of the largest Union of Reform Judaism (URJ) camps in North America, we consistently provide an environment that nurtures Jewish leaders and builds a stronger Jewish community. To make your gift to our 2016 annual campaign, please contribute today.

the OSRUI Scholarship Fund
More than 700 people were treated to an amazing evening of music and song with Israeli Concert and Recording Artist Achinoam Nini (Noa). The evening raised more than $36,000 for OSRUI Scholarships. Noa is pictured here with event co-chairs Michael Lorge and Tracy Friend.
