What an incredible opening day!  We have opened the gates for summer number 64 here at OSRUI! The sun was shining, the grass was green, the skies were blue, the smiles were big, the running hugs were everywhere, the high fives and fist bumps were plentiful, and everyone was happy to be back at the happiest place on earth, Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute!

Today, with the help of 234 tzevet (staff) members, 15 segel (faculty) members, and 3 directors, we welcomed over 400 chanichim (campers) to Oconomowoc today, with another 550 anxiously waiting at home for their turn to enter the green gates at some point over the next eight weeks.IMG_5285

Today the chanichim traveled approximately a combined 65,000 miles in over 200 cars, 4 buses, and 15 airplanes to make it to Oconomowoc and to OSRUI for summer 2016! We have chanichim from 16 states as well as Israel and Singapore.
