JANUARY 2022 STAFF UPDATE
It’s very cold and snowy in Oconomowoc – and today is just about as far as we can get from the middle of summer at camp. Days like this make me more excited than ever to get back to summer at OSRUI. I feel so lucky to be planning for another magical summer at OSRUI with an incredible group of professionals who care deeply about summer camp, helping young people discover and explore their Jewish identity, and mentor our staff members as they continue their path as Jewish leaders.
Over the past few weeks, our team has grown and expanded. Please join me in welcoming home two new Assistant Directors, Ben Schillmoeller and Lina Wallace. Ben will lead our marketing and communications work during the year and is also an experienced and enthusiastic Judaic Studies teacher. Lina, a long-time camper, staff member, unit head, board member, and now camper parent will lead our family outreach and camper intake work during the year as well as overseeing the Wellness team at camp during the summer. There have been a number of additional portfolio shifts across the rest of our team – click here to read about the positions and bios on our team, and see below for who you can contact for some of the most common questions that we get in our office.
