Today is Yom “Get Out of the Heat” at OSRUI due to the hot, humid weather. That means lots of water activities, indoor sports (in our air conditioned sports center) and m’nucha in air condtioned buildings.

Lori Sagarin has served as faculty in Chalutzim, preparing with the staff for Yom Horim (parents visiting day). But this year she’s a Chalutzim parent and was unpreprepared for the effect the program had on her.

This week at OSRUI brought FestiKayitz – OSRUI’s own Summerfest about Israel, preparations for Yom Horim in Chalutzim, A Day in the Park in Tiferet, the final trips in Moshavah, and loads of fun in Kallah and Tzofim.

Chalutzim has been busy preparing for Festikayitz and Yom Horim (parents day).

Moshavah Aleph has had an incredible session. We have created amazing memories for the chanichim to take home.

Tzofim has had an amazing week and cant wait for the Shabbat ahead.

Kallah has had an exciting week between the Mesibah, Maccabiah and so much more. We are very excited for the last few days of camp and don’t want to say goodbye.

The Meshugenah Race from last week’s Maccabiah Games featured some unusual talents.

Tiferet presented the Star Spangled Mesibah last night. It was a night full of talent, energy and excitement.

It’s been an exciting week at OSRUI!

Moshavah has had a busy week of trips and Maccabiah Games. They are looking forward to their final tiyul of the session and making the most of their last week together.

OSRUI’s Teva Specialists, Arielle Solomon and Benj Altshuler, connect chanichim with the natural world around them through stewardship, hiking, and environmental experiences.
