“Even After 13 Years, I Still Learn Something New”
“I learn from them and they inspire me”
Out of the Mud
Mosh Rollin’ Down the River
Yom Avo-Mah?? Yom Avodah!!
Chalutzim knows that the best work is done when we do it together and with a chiyuch rachav (a wide smile).

Torah and the Art of Toilet Plunging
They are the luggage schleppers, egg scramblers, the carpet vacuumers and floor moppers. These teens are the stable shovelers, the garbage carriers and the toilet plungers.

Making the Very Best of a Cloudy Day!
Singin’, dancin’, playin’ despite the rain!
G-Unit! Gesher is in the Horseshoe House!
It has been an awesome week in the G-Unit! We opened our week with an amazing initiation activity to begin the session. We threw our fears in a burning fire to symbolize letting go of our fears, and then followed that by planting a “burning bush” outside of our prayer area.
The Most Epic Day in Tiferet!
Ever want to experience the day in the life of one of our Tiferet segel (faculty) members?
Through the eyes of a Kallah Camper
We’ve been having an incredible time in Kallah! Our first week was jampacked with tubing, climbing Etgar, swimming in the Brecha (pool), getting to know everyone in our tzrifim (cabin), and celebrating our first Shabbat. But enough from me…The best way to learn everything Kallah is through the eyes of our amazing chanichim (campers).
While we were away……
Here is everything that we you missed while we were resting for Shabbat:
Shabbat Shalom from OSRUI
What an incredible first week it has been at OSRUI. After an amazing and beautiful opening day, our chanichim (campers) moved into their eidot (units) with the help of our amazing madrichim (counselors), moomchim (specialists), and segel (faculty).
Sloshing in the Mud
You don’t have to be at camp or in a far-off place to enjoy the beauty of nature. Look out your window, sit in a friend’s garden, take a walk by the lake, set out on a forest preserve trail, go to the botanic gardens, or… Open yourself to the natural world, and, step back with gratitude – even if you are sloshing through mud.
#TBT to Opening Day!
Let’s take a #TBT look at Opening Day!
Camp is a place for cracking codes
You have to answer how you would crack the code for yourself – not just about the difference between a blessing and a prayer, but how you express and feel about your Judaism. Camp is the place where that happens every day.
